The Intermountain Region

Geographical Regions

The Intermountain Region is an area that lies between the Rocky and Coast Mountains. This region is very thinly populated, with a good reason. It consists of some deserts, high plateaus, and mountains. Many of the rivers in this area flow into somewhat salty lakes. There are only a few areas suitable for agriculture.

The climate is very dry in most of the region, although different regions have different temperatures. Resources seem to be limited also. It isn't easy to survive in this area, with limited access to human needs, and there aren't many resources that can provide jobs.
